Fundación Lunita Lunera, Ecuador – 2020 project

In 2020 Fundación Lunita Lunera provided more than 5,000 migrants and refugees living in the provinces of Sucumbíos and Esmeraldas with information about PSEA and reporting mechanisms through the dissemination of posters and leaflets. Particular attention was given to children through the creation and distribution of adapted IEC materials including comic books, posters and colouring books. These materials were also shared on social media, where, together with videos and radio spots, they reached up to 222,000 persons, including host communities.
Resources from FULULU include:
- a brochure in Spanish which provides information on what constitutes PSEA and where and how to report, targeting migrants and refugees.
- a comic book on PSEA in Spanish for migrant and refugee children and youth. Comic Book also as a colouring book and a poster.
- 6 Focus Group Discussions guides on PSEA awareness
- Radio spots in Spanish which provide information on what constitutes PSEA and where and how to report, targeting migrants and refugees.
