Description

The International Committee of the Red Cross provides a series of professional standards and guidelines that can apply to all humanitarian and human rights actors doing protection work in conflict and other situations of violence. The standards and guidelines cover diverse issues of current concern, ranging from the responsibility of protection actors vis-à-vis the existing formal protection architecture, to the need to avoid any negative impact in their work, and to ensure that they possess the essential competencies required.
