This series of virtual events on current topics and emerging issues, in collaboration with a range of protection allies and partners, presents an opportunity to showcase frontline work, review new directions, hear from local voices, and engage with protection actors. Donor Conference Sahel and Lake Chad Region 26 October 2024
The Sahel and Lake Chad Basin countries – Nigeria, Niger, Chad, Cameroon, Burkina Faso and Mali – are experiencing an unprecedented, long-lasting and multi-faceted crisis.
Saudia Arabia is hosting a Ministerial-level conference for the Sahel and Lake Chad Basin on 26 October 2024, in collaboration with IOC, UNHCR and OCHA.
Attendance at the conference is by invitation only.
