Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF) High-level Pledging Event (HLPE) for 2022

The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) will convene a high-level pledging event on the Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF) for 2022, to take place on Wednesday, 8 December 2021 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. New York (EST). The event will be held in a hybrid format, with a limited number of participants in New York able to join in-person in the Trusteeship Council Chamber, subject to and in accordance with the latest UN COVID-19 guidance. Member States are encouraged to participate at the Ministerial level.  Interpretation will be available in the six official UN languages. The purpose of the event—which marks the 15th anniversary of the CERF—will be to galvanize greater commitments and ensure the CERF remains fit to respond to the increasing levels and complexities of global humanitarian needs.
