The Regional Humanitarian Partnership Events 2020
Instead of a week of face-to-face events in Bangkok in the past years which brought together over 100 members and partners of ICVA and the Asia Disaster Reduction and Response Network (ADRRN) focused on strengthening humanitarian practice in the region, this year’s Events will be a virtual journey of 3 months and hopefully be joined by more members and partners.
The Events will be comprised of a series of consultations and webinars for key humanitarian and development actors to share their perspectives on how disaster risk reduction, emergency preparedness and humanitarian response should transform in the changing context, especially due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is co-organized by Asian Disaster Reduction and Response Network (ADRRN), International Council of Voluntary Agencies (ICVA), UN Office for Humanitarian Affairs (UN-OCHA), and Community World Service Asia (CWSA), and supported by members and partners.
