First Sherpa Meeting of the Grand Bargain on Efficiency: ICVA notes

ICVA's notes from the 29 February  meeting in Amsterdam of the first of four meetings of the Sherpas on the Grand Bargain on Efficiency. On 29 February 2016 Dutch Minister Ploumen and EC Vice President Georgieva kicked off the first of four meetings of “sherpas” – 30 representatives of donors and aid agencies – to scope out the implementation of the “Grand Bargain on Efficiency” proposed in theJanuary 2016 report of the High Level Panel on Humanitarian Financing.  The report had recommended “by the World Humanitarian Summit donors and aid organisations work towards a collective roadmap for stretching available money to reach more people in need.” This report summarizes the discussion and provides ICVA's analysis on the day.
