ICVA General Assembly

Organised every three the General Assembly is the supreme body of ICVA with responsibility for the formulation and review of ICVA's policy and programme. It brings together representatives of ICVA’s members to collectively reflect on ICVA’s work since the last General Assembly, set the direction and priorites of the comings years work, and to elect a new ICVA Board. 

 

17th General Assembly 2018, Geneva, Switzerland.

The one day General assmebly was held on 21 March 2018 in Geneva, Switzerland.  Members adopted the 2019-2021 Strategy, approved the proposed amendments to the Statutes, and elected the Board and Chair.

 

16th General Assembly 2015, Geneva, Switzerland

 

15th General Assembly 2012, 20-21 March 2012, Geneva, Switzerland.

The two-day General Assembly, held on 20 and 21 March 2012, in Geneva, Switzerland,  adopted the 2012-2014 Strategic Plan, and an updated vision and mission for ICVA. This agreement confirmed ICVA as  “a global network for humanitarian action”.  A new Board was elected, following the decision to change the name of the governing body from and Executive Committee to a Board. Penny Lawrence of Oxfam UK was elected Chair.
