Presentation of the new RWI International Humanitarian Law - Compliance Monitoring Database

Launched in October 2024, the ICMD aims is an ambitious project that aims to centralise existing data from a vast network of partners on the ground, in order to facilitate access and analysis of information regarding compliance of IHL in armed conflicts around the world.

The session will feature a presentation of the ICMD project by leadership of the Raoul Wallenberg Institute: Peter Lundberg, Executive Director, and Manuel Galvis Martinez, ICMD Coordinator and Thematic Leader of International Humanitarian Law (ai.). The presentation will be followed by a moderated discussion.

Note: This meeting will take place in hybrid (in-person/online) format. Colleagues in Geneva are most welcome to join in person at the Humanitarian Hub.
